Created two data driven map graphics for Visit California tied to this year’s World Cup, each built to tell a distinct story for a different audience. The first maps the two California host cities and the attractions within reach of each stadium, giving visiting fans a quick geographic reference. The second positions California as a year round sports destination, illustrating the range of sports already hosted across the state and the distance between Northern and Southern California, largely for an international audience unfamiliar with the state’s scale. Designed the full icon set used across both graphics. Delivered for use as slide decks, web assets, and standalone PDFs.
